The Special Envoy of the Sovereign Order of Malta for the New Forms of Exclusion Sergio Rodríguez López-Ros has been able to participate in the 4th meeting of the ITU-T Focus Group on Metaverse (FG-MV), held online from Geneva on 4-7 December 2023.

This focus group, emerging from United Nations World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations Specialized Agency’s International Telecommunication Union (ITU) joint Focus Group on Artificial Intelligence for Health (FG-AI4H), tried to envision technology use cases for the metaverse, working towards international technical standards for the metaverse.

The Special Mission of the Sovereign Order of Malta contributes by suggesting an inclusive metaverse as part of the Ai4Good.
